About the event

Does your heartbeat quicken, your temperature rises, your body tenses, your gut churns or your thoughts freeze or even flood you?

If so, you're not alone. Stress is a normal response to difficult situations and can occur at any time in our lives, in many different ways. But did you know that self-hypnosis can be an effective way of dealing with stress?

 

What can you expect?

If you want to learn how to modulate your stress and interact with your own way of functioning, then this self-hypnosis workshop is for you.

Tentative schedule for the day:

 

1. Morning:

Welcome and Introduction to Hypnosis

Hypnosis theory and announcement of the day's agenda

Group exercise to identify stress state, recognize dominant senses and clarify subjective perception of stress

Demonstration and practical workshop - "Focus

2. Afternoon

Demonstration and practical workshop - "Imaginary

Debriefing and stress theory

Group exercise - anchoring

Guided group hypnotic experience

Closing

SURPRISE - for those who stay until the end

You'll discover your dominant senses, your internal stress models, learn to recognize your internal state and put into practice simple methods to quickly manage your stress. The aim is to learn how to modulate your stress by interacting with your own modus operandi.

 

A little hypnology

 

 

Research into the effects of hypnosis and auto-suggestion tends to demonstrate significant results in stress management. Successive studies - Berman, 2011, Jensen et al, 2011, and Wang et al., 2019 - have shown that hypnosis - in both accompanied and self-hypnosis forms - was effective in significantly reducing anxiety and stress, also achieving improvements in quality of life if the stress was linked to another problem (insomnia, irritable bowel syndrome).

That said, the workshop will focus more on practice and experimentation to help you integrate these techniques. In any case, hypnosis is by definition subjective, so we'll adapt to you. And in the end, there's no better way to learn than to experiment.

The workshop will take place on May 27, 2023 at Espace Riponne.

With a maximum capacity of 12-14 people, we prefer to guarantee optimum attendance and offer you an immersive experience.

These workshops are led by Juliette Raynaud, PhD, NLP master practitioner and Ericksonian hypnosis practitioner, and Mourad Chouaki, MSc/Ma, physicist and strategy consultant, Ericksonian hypnosis practitioner and former karate competitor, who will be delighted to share with you their respective perspectives on stress management and tools drawn from hypnosis, NLP and Shirzad Chamine's Positive Intelligence.
